Join us on Saturday April 29, 2023, between the hours of 9AM - 4PM to help ready the units for our arrival of spring and summer reservations as we turn on the water and open our outer units, Wald, Serendipity, and Unit II. Work for the day may include sweeping and cleaning out cabins, wiping down and moving mattresses, sweeping and wiping down all structures in our pavilions, moving wood, and other various spring clean-up activities.
Participants should bring a bagged lunch, work gloves and dress warmly in case of colder weather.

Liability Waiver
The participant agrees that their participation in Friends of Golden Pond Work Weekend is voluntary. Additionally, the participant agrees to assume any risk that is associated with participating in the event and releases Friends of Golden Pond from any and all claims of damage and loss that may be as a result of participation. The release is without limitation and includes the personal injury fees, attorney’s fees and any other losses that might occur to the participant. The participant agrees to hold Friends of Golden Pond harmless against all claims of damage and loss including damage to Friends of Golden Pond property caused by the participant. The participant hereby warrants that they are physically fit and able to participate in Friends of Golden Pond's Work Weekend without any undue risk. Friends of Golden Pond maintains that the right to refuse participation if they foresee that participation would risk damage to any party. This waiver agreement is governed by the laws of Pennsylvania. Any legal claims or lawsuits related to the participants shall take place in courts located in Huntingdon County, PA. The participant agrees that this waiver agreement shall remain in full force and take effect without change and that participation in Friends of Golden Pond Work Weekend is pursuit to the terms of the agreement.
